Is it the case that EDIFACT EDI documents submitted to TN must include the UNA Segment (Service String Advice)?
If I do not include this segment in my tests, the document is not recognized by TN. If I add the UNA segment, everything works as expected.
UNA segment is needed if the document doesn’t contain the standard EDI delimiters: record ’ field + subfield :.

Thank you Chris for your response.
Is there a way to redefine what wM TN considers the “standard delimiters” for EDIFACT? For example, if a majority of the enterprise’s trading partners use \r\n as the record delimiter, could this be redefined to avoid the requirement of always including the UNA Segment?
