Turn an account add operation into a modify account

    I wanted to ask if there is any way to turn an account add operation into a modify account changing the global operations.
     
    When the user requests a new account on a system a check must be made, if the user already has an account (checking the service name) instead of starting the add account operation it must start the account modify.
