  • 1.  Trial -> site license authorization

    The University for whom I work has a site license for SPSS. By what process would they be able to provide an authorization code for the one-month free trial of SPSS that I downloaded the other day, so that it becomes a licensed version? If there is a tutorial or other support page that I could refer to our configuration manager, that would be helpful. Thanks.

    I am sorry but the 30 day free trial version you can register for on IBM Marketplace is NOT the classic, code based release of SPSS Statistics. The trial version of SPSS Statistics is indeed the SPSS Statistics Subscription release that cannot be activated with a code at all.

    It only works with IBM ID and can be purchased on monthly basis.

    If you have a 20 digit authorization code for the classic version of SPSS Statistics like version 27 or 26, then you need to contact the vendor / University where you have purchased, to provide the proper software package, as there is no public download link for the code based SPSS software.

    Your vendor need to download it from their IBM Passport Advantage account and then provide the software to you.

    regards

    It is possible that a 20-digit activation code was sent by email.
