I work at a place that locks down their servers, no way to use IBM when installing software. So I downloaded the Toolbox iso ESD-Toolbox_for_Linux_Apps_Common_7.2-7.3_122024_LCD4107740.iso. All the rpms I am looking for are there. I have tried to create a lpp_source, which works kind of, it used the ppc directory, but the rpms I really need are in the directory ppc-7.2 or ppc-7.3. I also have tried yum, or rpm with them and they both say not the right format. If I use smit and point it at the rpms on that iso, it says not the right kind of file. Has anyone done this? I know a full installation iso is easy to set-up but this Toolbox iso is not in the standard format. I have tried so many things, ready to give up, pack up my desk and forget about it. I am hoping someone in this group knows what I am talking about and knows how to fix it!
