TN and Oracle TEMP Tablespace

    During a load test of TN 6.01 w/java 1.3.1.09 on Solaris 7 w/ Oracle 8.1.7, we encountered an issue with the Oracle TEMP table space filling up to the point IS was unable to respond. Autoextent was on and we have plenty of disk space.

    When TN was killed, the Tablespace was released.

    Is there some control from within IS/TN to handle TEMP space usage? Should I increase the watt.sever.maxThread setting? It’s currently set to the default 75. I can’t find any documentation on how to determine the proper MaxThread setting.
