    Hi,
    It was raised on the other forum that from 2.0.9.13 that ODBC drivers had to be compliant with ODBC 3.0, looking at the wiki it would seem this was released in 1995.

    Is there any intent from IBM to reintroduce backwards compatibility for older versions of the ODBC standard?
    Does the proposed solution of checking the unicode flag or using ODBCOpenEx  work for all ODBC drivers that doesn't meet the ODBC 3.0 standard?

    We have some upgrades planned and I'm trying to understand the risk of the worst case where we have to roll back an upgrade because an ODBC driver is pre v3.0 and the proposed solution does not work.
