  • 1.  tail -F ends when piped into anything - coreutils

"/opt/freeware/bin/tail -F temp.txt |grep 123"     ends unexpectedly. (The standard AIX tail -f or redhat tail does not have this issue)

    Has anyone seen this behaviour - or know how this might be solved?
