On it's way up, the control panel shows a looping series of C1C3C2XX, beginning with C1C3C200 and ending with C1C3C218 after the disks are found (you can hear them spinning up) and then a hang at B150F22A prior to the boot screen, so I can not get into the SMS menu or boot from CD. I also do not know the current version of firmware on the machine.

    Following the advice on other forums, I have:
    1. powered the machine off, unplugged/reseated the power plugs and rebooted = same error
    2. performed pinhole reset on system control panel, rebooted = same error

    Any additional ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Doing a google search of your code comes up with a note from IBM about this being a known firmware issue. To get your system up, they recommend turning the server off and unplugging it for a few minutes, then plugging in and booting up.

    Upgrading the firmware will prevent this in the future.
