The problem description is unclear. Note the component suppression is meant for situations when an invalid software element discovery occurs - see:

Sharing a software component instance is the opposite - it is when you have a valid component discovered and your intention is to reflect it it your reports as belonging to two or more different products - see:

It is quite unusual to suppress a component which earlier your pointed out to be valid and made it a part of multiple products.

What exactly is the report scenario you are referring to? What is the problematic status now and what do you wish to reflect in your report?
