  • 1.  Suggestion on Keystore file

    Posted Mon June 13, 2011 09:44 PM

    Hello gurus,

We have WM6.5 , now installed 8.0 in new server, Linux OS. If i copy the keystore file from 6.5 to 8.0, would that work or i have to create a new keystore file and then create keystore aliases.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

I don’t see why the .jks keystore file would have to change. If you use keytool on the new server and use the -list command and are able to see the aliases then it should be fine.

6.5 still uses file directory as key store.
Moving to 8.0, You need to load those cert files into a jks file.
I’m using KeyStore Explorer from LAZGO, free and works well.
