Hello AIX crew.. first post from a long time Solaris guy being tasked with security hardening some AIX boxes. Did a search on this and did not get any results.
Just as the title says.. Whenever a user logs in via ssh or an su to that account occurs, getting a message that states Cannot change mode of "/dev/pts/0". Usually see 5-6 of these messages right after the warning banner (motd) displays.
Only happens with users that are not part of the system group.
I've run a truss on the su - username command and not really seeing anything jumping out at me.
Any ideas on anything to check?
