Starting a Tamino Database automatically?!

  • 1.  Starting a Tamino Database automatically?!

    Posted Wed October 10, 2001 11:39 AM

    Hi Taminos,

we use Tamino 2.3.1.1 (WIN NT) combinded with Apache and ServletExec(a servlet engine for java servlets)
The last two have been installed as services and start automatically.
Is there a way to configure Tamino in such a way, that a specific Database starts automatically? Maybe a batch file will do, but I haven’t found anything by reading the docs.

    Any help would do.
    Thanks in advance.
    Greets,

    Konstantin

In Tamino Manager modify the tamino database properties (I believe its the XML properties). There is a database property called autostart. If this is set to ‘yes’ then the database is automatically started when the “Software AG Tamino Event Service” service is started.

The reverse is not true btw, ie the db is not stopped automatically when the event service is stopped.
