    I think you or your customer needs to engage better with AIX Support to investigate them problem further and find the right solution. AIX support has a large database to search and I am sure they would not recommend APARS that don't apply to your OS level. If they do, push it back to them and ask for a better service - we all make mistakes and can learn from them. Perhaps, this is an old bug that as come back again to haunt the developers or the cause is being reported incorrectly.

    I hope AIX Support can work the prooblem and get your machine reliable.
