Minimizing the squared euclidean distance is equivalent to minimizing the euclidean distance, and the objective is convex quadratic.

I'm not quite sure what you mean. Could I get my answer by changing the objective. Or can't CPLEX solve this question. If CPLEX can solve it can you adapt my Excel file so I can see how.

Sorry, what I said applies to minimizing a single norm. You seem to be adding norms. I don't think you can solve that with CPLEX. I suggest you try a nonlinear solver.
