  • 1.  SQL Catalog

    Posted Tue February 04, 2003 11:14 AM

    Hello!

In Tamino Manager I tried to execute command connect into SQL Catalog, unfortunately I got the following message error text:

    Database Error
-1454 1454(E): client server interface send error

In documentation I could not find any useful clues to fix it, so I ask for support.

Any ideas to solve it will be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

    best regards,
    Dariusz Baumann

Hi Dariusz, which version of Tamino are we talking about here, I assume it is v3121 ? Also what does it say in the license file for the TaminoSQL component: is it set to yes or no?

    Hi Stuart Fyffe-Collins!

Now, we are talking about v3111.

In my licence key located in:
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Software AG\LKey
I found that SQL tag is set to “yes”.
    yes

So, what can I do to solve this problem?

    Thanks a lot.

    best regards,
    Dariusz Baumann

I checked around and I have no ideas. I know the username/password is case sensitive, maybe this is the problem? It should be user DBA and password dba. I would certainly ask the question of your local SAG customer support if this doesn’t help. Btw if you want to use make use the SQL engine I would certainly recommend upgrading to v4.1.1.
