    One of the most appreciated features from our competitor Qlik is the way they treat prompt filters, and  our customers that have had the opportunity to view it strongly ask for it.

    Let's say we have 10 prompts on a report / dashboard, from different dimensions. Is there a smart way to dynamically and immediately refilter the elements contained in every single prompt based on the selections made in others?

    Not without re-prompting. Unfortunately.

    The new 11.1 visualizations package the data up and render visualizations on the client side. Perhaps they can make some kind of prompt object that does the same thing, which would enable what you're talking about here.

    If you put in an RFE I'll upvote.

    @Tiziano Brandi This is possible using prompt cascades or optional detail filters to filter the other prompt queries based on the selection made in the "global" prompt. Our Value prompt has an auto-submit option, so once you select a value it will cascade to the other prompt controls.

    I've attached a report spec for reference. The report was built using our GO Sales (Query) Package against Cognos Analytics 11.1.1
