  • 1.  Separate view of documents from two different document classes within a Case

In BAW/Case Manager, we have two document classes associated with the case solution.

POLICYDOCS - Parent class of Policy Docs
CLAIMSDOCS - Sub class of Policy Docs

The requirement is to display documents from each class in a separate widget. Please check the attached image for better understanding.
Are there better alternatives to using Content List widgets and stored searches? Any suggestions for an optimal and performant solution would be greatly appreciated

    Hello!

Are you using the Client-side Human Services (CSHS) feature for creating your case pages? CSHS pages provide much more flexibility in creating your BAW case solution UIs and much easier customization as they provide many out-of-the-box UI views of various complexity.

Here is a basic functional example of pointing the ECM Document List view on a case details CSHS page at the case instance folder and filtering it by a specific document class ID. You would copy/paste for each doc class you want in separate lists.

IBM_TargetObjectStore is the built-in reference to the case runtime object store.

FSR_VesselPhotos is the ID of a document class defined in my case project.

caseId is the case instance folder ID variable that is passed into the case details CSHS as an input parameter.

    Hi Dave,

Apologies for the delayed response. It is not a BPM based UI and we are using only the FileNet Case Manager of BAW.
