    In HP-UX, to forward emails to a local user, but specify a non-local email address, you could create the following entry in the users mail file:

    "/var/mail/user" contains the line, "Forward to user@domain.com"

    Is something similar possible in AIX under the /var/spool/mail/user, mail file?

    I'm not talking about using the /etc/mail/aliases file, or the .forward in a home directory because we share home directories for certain applications.

    Any/all suggestions welcome.
