Sending IDOCS TO SAP via ALE R/3 Transport

  • 1.  Sending IDOCS TO SAP via ALE R/3 Transport

    Posted Mon July 21, 2003 11:10 AM

We are sending an IDOC via ALE R/3 transport from webMethods server to the SAP R/3 system.
When I try to view the transaction as xml under the routing rules tab in the server admin
    the following error gets generated.

    " java.lang.ArrayStoreException

    at pub.sap.idoc.decodeSDATA(idoc.java(Compiled Code)) "

View as html and Values work fine.

We are using the SAP adapter version 4.6 with the latest service pack.

The IDOC gets transmitted fine to the SAP system.
Is there something that needs to be done besides invoking the Hierarchy to Flat and the ALE inbound process to route the IDOC via the routing rule to the SAP system.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,

I am also facing similar problems. Before upgrading to SAP Adapter SP5, I was able to view the IDOCs in any format. But now I can’t view the IDOCs coming out of SAP in xml format. I get the following error…

Cannot view XML input using style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.

System does not support the specified encoding. Error processing resource ‘http://~servername:port~/invoke/wm.PartnerMgr.xtn.admin/viewMessage?type=xml&$tid=0a027;7e71f70d6cea000001b7&receiver=0;0001000513&msgType=OR;RDERS’.

Note: servername and port is not shown for security purpose.

Can anyone let us know if there is any change in config parameters here?

    Thanks
