We are also dealing with exactly same issue post upgrade to v24.0.1. In our case, it's BAWoC SaaS and IBM support is trying to find a resolution.
So, either you can raise a support ticket with IBM or follow below steps to see if it helps -
There are a couple of iFix available, you can check with IBM for installing those.

Hello Sebastian, I followed the technote https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/what-first-step-resolving-problems-related-process-portal-search-index, which includes your suggestion to rebuild, but the issue was not solved.
While I was searching for the rebuild messages in the logs I found others that pointed me to the origin of the problem.
There are some messages like this one. As you can see in the message there is a field lastIndexJobMajorTime with a date in the future, 2026-01-23.
A asked Client if something weird happened, and they told me that there were a problem with SQL Server, which was restarted with a date in the future, that's why we see those timestamps in the future.
So the question is, how can we solve this? How can we change this lastIndexJobMajorTime?
I ended up opening a Case to see if they help me, but I wanted to leave here a message about the result of your suggestion.
I am waiting for IBM feedback.

We have identified the following behavior in our application developed using IBM BPM BAW.
In the Process Portal, the search function does not always return results/tasks assigned to the user when searching by subject.
This issue occurs intermittently, and we have been unable to determine its cause or understand why tasks are returned in some cases but not in others.
Process Portal

Search with returned task

Search without returned task

We performed a restart of both production machines and the database instance, but the issue persists.
We have not found any relevant details in the logs related to this behavior.
We kindly request your analysis to help us understand what might be causing this behavior and the most appropriate way to resolve it.
I have opened a case, but since my version is out of support, I believe they will not help me.
Name IBM Business Automation Workflow Enterprise
Version 8.6.3.21030
I only have experience in installing and operating the BAW, the internals of it are still difficult to understand. I do not have any clue about where to start diagnosing this issue, if someone have a quick response, I would appreciate a lot.
