    I am just starting on testing the upgrade from SAP BC 4.6 to 4.7. In SAP I use a single RFC function module to call SAPBC and one of the parameters of this function module is the BC service to run (as we run different BC services for different applications). In BC 4.6 I then pass this parameter to the ‘wm.PartnerMgr.gateway.admin:invokeService’ which then runs the specified service.
    The problem I have is the ‘wm.PartnerMgr.gateway.admin:invokeService’ service does not now exist in BC 4.7. I have changed the service to ‘pub.remote:invoke’ and set up a remote server which is actually the local server and this works ok, but what are the implications of doing this?
