I've found the root cause of the problem. The customer had 2 smb.conf file on its box with different content.
One is stored in the original location /etc/samba/smb.conf and one is store in a shared folder /samba/etc/smb.conf.
During the smb-Start procedure, the client is using the /samba/etc/smb.conf file. But to join the Domain etc, they used the "net ads join -U xxxx" without the option
-- configfile. I have now linked the /samba/etc/smb.conf -> /etc/samba/smb.conf and since then it works fine.

There is nothing much one can deduce from these logs.
You can increase the log level to 10 and look for the errors. If you are going to share the logs here, then blank out sensitive details.
Run "testparm" to check for any config issues with smb.conf file.

We have installed Samba 4.14.12-1 on AIX 7.2
The process is working and the we were able to join the the Domain-Controller.
But if we try to map a share on Windows it's not working.
