regarding international characters in EDI data

    Hi,
    I am new to webMethods,facing the problem in international character EDI data.
    How can i process the EDI data which contain international characters like japanese and chinese in the flowservice which i written in the webMethods Developer 6.1
    I mean in which service i have to make changes to process the EDI data.
    can anyone help me regarding this issue?

    May be in the wm.b2b.edi:convertToValues step there is a param for encoding…try setting ISO8859-1 or UTF-16 to handle International chars

    encoding=ISO8859-1
