How long is it likely to take and is there any way to check it is working ? lsvg -p informs me the volume group is locked

    This is AIX 5.3 TL6 SP1 and HACMP 5.35

I had a similar issue with a VG but I had to vary it off to get access to the disks.
Fortunately it was a backup VG not one of my data VG's.

    Good luck.
