I would like to make a portlet field editable or non-editable based on a portlet preference value.
I opened the portlet editor and added a preference called isEditable of String type and scope being “Value stored per portlet instance” and not hidden.
Could you please double-check that property is not hidden one more time. There was a known issue that checking this does not stick for the first time and you have to set it again.
Also if it is checked could you verify that you are not having any errors reported in MWS logs during deployment of the application
