    Hello !
    I have finally managed to get ipl my RDz UT 801.
    Bth ipl-ing with CICS and DB2 seems to work but when I ipl with IMS IC or IW I can't seem to get
    IMS to work. I have tried the S IMS11RL1 and S IMS11CR1 and get the control region up but I can't logon to IMS from a 3270 screen (L IMS3270). The IMS manuals talk about the MTO but I can'ät find any master terminal.
    Have anybody any ideas/tips what I have to do to start IMS and use a user 2370 terminal to run a transaction ?

    Do anybody have a "zOS subsystem command for dummies" type of document available and is willing to share ?

    Hi !
    Found the answer to my question.
    I had to relky to the question in the console and do the appropriate start /NRE or /ERE.

    I am now up and running IMS.

    lol ... glad the forum is working for you Bo!

    I was searching for an IMS person to answer for you, but it looks like you beat me to it. The master console is typically the first 3270 session you create to attach to the environment.
