Has the z/OS system that comes with RDz UT been pre-configured with the basic customization tasks needed to support RDz clients? For instance, have the config file updates been made for the RSED, LOCKD, and JMON started tasks?
The RACF customizations required for RDz access are also numerous, and there are many optional tasks such as the setup for the Debug Tool. All of these RDz customization tasks are documented in the RDz Host Configuration Guide: http://www-05.ibm.com/e-business/linkweb/publications/servlet/pbi.wss?CTY=US&FNC=SRX&PBL=sc23-7658-03
Is it the intent of RDz UT software package to have a basic set of Host Configuration tasks completed, so that any RDz client can easily connect to a new UT z/OS system, which would be "ready-to-go" for RDz?
If so, then where are these RDz Host Config definitions and config files documented for the RDz UT system?
    Thanks, Dave

The z/OS system comes pre-configured for getting the basic z/OS up-and-running. There are still a couple of configuration steps needed for RDz which we document in the RDz UT configuration guide. You can find the configuration guide and other reference material for RDz UT in the RDz library.
Long term our intent is to have the z/OS distribution more preconfigured and ready to rock. The initial RDz UT release was focused on getting the middleware and environment put together. Over time we will be working on adding additional pre-configuration to the included system so there is less work on the user.
