    Hi all,

     

        We have installed and running a RDTE machine for about 10 developers. These developers are coding COBOL-IMS-DB2 programs, and they have this environment only for them. Trying to help them in their work, I want to prepare Debug Tool to debug using IMS BTS(Batch Terminal Simulator) Debug Sessions. When I set up Debug Tool for BTS, DT has as JCL model EQA111.SEQATLIB(EQABMPSM), this JCL is executing program BTSRC00. This program is inside BTS libraries, but I do not find BTS libraries inside RDTE. So my question:

    IMS Batch Terminal Simulation (BTS) is provide by RDTE ADCD distibution?, If yes, can anybody tell me in what volume are BTS libraries?. If BTS is not available for RDTE, do you know other way to debug BMP programs emuling terminals in RDTE?.

    IMS Batch Terminal Simulation (BTS) does not come with the ADCD. If you or your client have active license of BTS for use on the mainframe, it can be used on RD&T under the terms of the RD&T license by working with sales team to put an additional programs letter in place to cover the usage of IBM z/OS software that is not packaged with RD&T.
