    Hey Robert,

    This raises some questions:

    1. Where (when) can we get 9.9 to start testing in our environments?
      1. The last I went to the RDi site, there was nothing even about an announcement of 9.9.  Looking at IBM site to get RDi, https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/1115889 , 9.9 is not an option.  
    2. Is all current 9.8 functionality in 9.9?
      1. When we went to 9.6 there was functionality that was not ready or not delivered at all.  Hopefully we will not see a repeat.
    3. Will this version include better support of git?
    4. Will this version include integration of AI and code assist tools?

    This seems odd to announce support break when there are not a lot of details on or release of software.  It is unclear why IBM would cut off support so soon.  Is there a reason in trying to push everyone to 9.9?

    I asked Steve Ferrell (Fortra) if there is a Beta for RDi 9.9 planned.

    He confirmed, that there will be a shortened Beta for 9.9 before the release at December 5th.

    That would be correct if they follow the same pattern that was licenced between 9.5, 9.6 - 9.8 , and now 9.9.  (*each 9.x version needed a new licence).

    Though we might be all lucky perhaps, if the Rational Santa Clause comes to town.
