  • 1.  QuipGui.cmd doesn't find the JRE

    Hello,

    I have problems getting the QuipGui to work on any Windows 2000 System. I’ve added the Java/bin-directory to my PATH-Variable and startet the cmd-script from the Command-Line.

    I always get the message: “Quilt needs Java 1.3”. I tried various things, but I can’t get it to work, even on other Win-Systems.

    It doesn’t work with Java 1.3 and Java 1.4.

    Thanks in advance for any suggestions…

    it seems that you are not using Java 1.3. Before
    starting the QuipGui.cmd please check with
    ‘java -version’ which version of Java you are
    actually using.
    BTW: the current version of Quip does not work
    with Java 1.4. This will change with the next
    version of Quip.
