All the VG's are imported on shadow image using the PVID's propagated from production system(which helps in importing productions VG's on shadow image). My query is that what affect will cfgmgr or chdev command will have on the LUN's with respect to PVID. How the cfgmgr and chdev differs with respect to setting PVID?

Does chdev command assign new PVID everytime or it takes the information from the
