    This gets you running the new kernel.

    Yes, the system has been restarted a couple times now. The full set of install instructions for ML03 were followed, oslevel -r shows 5300-03 so everything appears to be okay, except for the cpu time 'anomalies'.

    I ran into this same problem when moving to 5.3.0.0 ML02. This was fixed in one of the patch sets afterwards, but you can get a "personalized" patch for your system by calling support. There is an e-fix out for this. However, if you move to ML03 or above, it has been fixed. We ran into this as we run Best1 from BMC for our performance monitoring and it reported some really large negative numbers, like what you mentioned.
