    I upgraded my openssl-0.9.7d-2 and openssh 4.1.0.5300 to openssl-0.9.8.600 and openssh 4.7.5301, installation was a breeze but now I can't login! My syslog reports:
    Jun 4 12:20:26 Austria sshd708784: pam_authenticate: error Authentication failed
    Jun 4 12:20:26 Austria sshd708784: Failed password for xxxx from 10.10.20.35 port 3639 ssh2
    Jun 4 12:20:36 Austria syslog: ssh: failed login attempt for xxxx from 10.10.20.35

    lucky I enabled telnet but still can't figure why it fails. I haven't set any pam auth variables on sshd_config ...
