I am trying to install VIO server throuh HMC. I have the VIO installation media loaded on the HMC.

I call installios from HMC command line and the installation starts once the required entries are made.

After about 70% of installation is done. I get the below error.

I've seen a version of 2.1 vio dvd that had the mksysb image split in two. Looks as though the software used to burn the dvd had a 4G file limit. We were using a nim server for installation and got around the problem using cat mksysb.1 >> mksysb
    Have you checked the dvd?
