    I'm excited to announce that IBM i PowerHA is providing significant enhancements for high availability in IBM Power Virtual Server including:

    1. Volume (LUN-Level) Switching between IBM i systems
    2. FlashCopy providing point in time snapshots of your data
    3. Simplified configuration of Global Replication Services (GRS) with the new CFGPVSMIR command

    These enhancements, while announced alongside IBM i 7.6, will be available for PowerHA environments at 7.4 and later, following the longstanding practice of providing as much functionality to as many PowerHA environments as possible.

    All of this will be available April 18th.
