I have a question here. One of my users encountered a problem with updating a cube in the Excel plugin. It was updated on a Friday and the following Monday it was discovered that the cube was not updated. Upon reviewing the server log this was the reason:
9212 [2f] ERROR 2021-12-03 11:16:12.878 TM1.Server sf_Rename: Failed to rename (e:\planning analytics server\data\Customer Bk.cub) to (e:\planning analytics server\data\Customer Bk.cub$$$). Error: error code:32 reason:"The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process." file:""e:\planning analytics server\data\Customer Bk.cub" : "e:\planning analytics server\data\Customer Bk.cub$$$" "
When I spoke to the user it is possible she had the cube (or file) open as another session. She is worried that she did not see any error message pop up on her client when saving the cube. Is this expected behaviour?
We are using this version:
Planning Analytics for Excel (PAfE) v 2-0-62
