perl-5.10.1 is part of AIX 7.1 base, it isn't available for AIX6.1.

However, we have perl-5.22 in rpm format which can be installed in AIX6.1 and higher versions.

You can get  it from http://www-03.ibm.com/systems/power/software/aix/linux/toolbox/alpha.html#P

or can be installed using "yum install perl".
