Yes, good suggestion João Caparroz : we would also need a 'plan-option' to have the plan-pane on the left side hidden or opened (or even maximized) when starting the plan.

Good News!!!
We also use these maximize and save as options a lot.
Waiting for this update to arrive soon as possible!

Hi Declan,
This is indeed a product defect that slipped into product. We have a fix in the upcoming 2.0.91 release for this specific problem and related issues with the presentation of books in Plans and Applications.
Removing the edit and save and share options was intentional. That being said, we will add an option in the Application and Plan configuration to enable or disabled save and sharing as need, but not the edit mode. We believe that these features should be off by default in Plans and Applications, but will support enabling them required. The goal is to make Applications and Plans more flexible for all use cases. I hope this helps to explain the changes.

After the PAW 90 update, the edit mode and expand icon were removed from the applications. We were using the expand icon very actively. It needs to be brought back immediately

We have also noticed that the ability to edit or save a book from within the Application is no longer possible. For us, this isn't necessarily as important as the expand option but it was still useful as users would take a preformatted book and then save a personal copy which they edited to suit their more specific requirements.
They again can still do this by opening the book directly from the folder structure.
This one is more of a noticed difference rather than a problem - whereas the expand functionality feels like a core part of day-to-day usage.

Hi,
We use "Applications" quite often within workspace to provide users an easy method of navigating between related books.
Following an upgrade to PAW 90 we have found that the "Expand" icon for widgets within the book is not present on any book accessed within an Application. The same book does still have working "Expand" icons if it is accessed directly through the folder structure.
Has there been an intended change here and is there a method for us to reenable the "expand" icon within applications or is this a bug?

It's pretty key functionality to the way that our users interact with books. So if this doesn't work any more in Applications; we will either have to roll back to an earlier release or stop using the Applications... which we'd rather not do as they do provide a simple and intuitive way for the majority of users to work with books.
Thanks,
Declan
