Password encryption - What hash?

    Been looking all over and can’t figure this out.

    How is the password for the adapters stored?

    I have info on 6.1x where the users.cnf is SHA-1, but newer information points to a possibility of DES256…?

    How about the adapters?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.
