Angelo,
It could be a bug, but the only way to confirm this is log a call with IBM support.
Couple of points I would like.
1. It is very rare to have more than 16+ dimensions in a cube. This makes it hard to navigate for the user. Have you considered using hierarchies.
I have seen many cases where after careful consideration, such cubes have been condensed to few dimensions. An example where dimensions can be reduced would be x3 dimensions for location, region, country which could easily reduced to 1 dimension where location -> region -> country.
This would also have many other benefits, e.g. speed of calculation, ease of writing rules & reports, better memory management etc.
2. version 2.0.7 is over 1 year old (April 2019). Current release is 2.0.9.1. There have been many fixes since.
3. You do not state which version of PAFE & PAW you are using. This could also be the cause. Again there have been many fixes in the last year.

Subject: PAfE/PAW - Cube dimensions limit
Dears,
We've upgrade TM1 to PAL 2.0.7 and I'm not sure if we've done something wrong with installation/configuration of PAW, but currently the viewer functionality in PAfE connecting to PA cubes is not working properly. This is apparently a limitation of PAfE, I would include PAW as we get the same error, where you can't expand any node and select any dimension members in a cube with more than 25 dimensions (our has 35 dims).
The error we get when expanding a node is: "Unable to Drill" and when when selecting a dimension members the screen comes blank hanging in that state trying to load the dimension members.
Has anyone run into the same issue?
Thanks and kindest regards,
Angelo
