Oracle RDB on OpenVMS/Itanium > Power10

    Hello,

    we are in sizing phase of target infrastructure. Customer is leaving RDB running on two machines in cluster something like RAC. Target infrastructure would be Power/AIX/DB2. What we would like to know if Itanium to Power conversion based on QPI is sufficient and also Memory requirements can be transferred 1:1.

    Customer is running BL860 8core Itanium / 128GB per node. It looks that 1-2 Power10 core would be sufficient with the same amount of RAM.

    Thx for any comment regarding OpenVMS OS cluster and real behaviour of RDB running on.
