    Hi
    I am getting this error ,when i start IS WM 6
    command
    server.bat -port 5555 -log none -debug none

    Error msg

    2006-08-31 00:26:49 IST [ISS.0014.0004C] No listening ports were available. Shutting down server.

    Where do we set ports?

    Usually this means that Integration Server is already running or that another application is using that port. By changing the command line to “-port 15555” you should be able to start the server and review which ports are in use.

    I tried all combination of ports
    Actually its giving Access denied error

    Hi

    In the config directory, there is a backup folder.
    I backup the existing files in /config and copied the files from /config/backup/ to /config. …And it worked

    I am getting above error while trying to login to webMethods server. I have copied the config directory back up to config directory still I am having the same problem. Can anybody can help.

    Hi Mark,

    I am facing the same problem in webMethods IS 7.1. I updated the JRE to 1.6.0_23 and recreated the Windows Service.
    It shows all the log in the server.log that all the packages are loaded and following are the logs.

    It means port 5555 is being already used by some other program, try starting server using different port.
