What did it say before it got that far? Did it cycle through the a number of bytes? Did it indicate bootp got a response, etc. etc.

Is NFS running on the NIM server, is bootpd running? What's the status of the machine object on the NIM server, etc.

Plenty of information you need to provide before we can make progress.

A number was incremented up to 10
and next bootp response was displayed
NFS is running on the NIM server
bootpd is running
status of the NIM client is "BOS installation has been enabled"

Is the firmware upto latest level because I had same error code on 7038-6m2 when updating 5.2 tl05 to tl10.I have to update the firmware in order to support boot image more than 12meg.
