  • 1.  MWS upgrade from 8.2.2 to 9.5 - migration tool

    Hi,
    I am not able to use the MWS migration tool in upgrading procedures for webMethods version 8.2.2. Error received by starting the /MWS/bin/migrate/migrate.sh script:

    Error during migration. Error message: Invalid source version entered. Valid values are: [9.0.1, 8.2.1, 8.0.2, 7.1.3].

    Can you please advise, if/how could be the MWS migration used in this version. If not, is there any document that describes how to migrate MWS config and optimize functionality?

    Check the MWS version in MWS about page it should be one of the values[8.2.1, 8.0.2]

    MWS version is 8.2.1.0.112
    Integration servers is 8.2.2.0, build 228 as shown on IS admin page

    Resolved!
    The migration tool could not resolve the original MWS version, I added “8.2.1” to the migrate.sh script as below:

    INSTALLER_SRC_VERSION=8.2.1
