When i try to bring MWS server up getting below exception.

JAVA_HOME: /apps/webMethods/bpo_int_mws/jvm/jvm160
MWS_HOME: /apps/webMethods/bpo_int_mws/MWS
Running MWS…
Exception in thread “main” java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: jmx/port=5009
Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: jmx.port=5009

at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(URLClassLoader.java:190)

at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:247)
Could not find the main class: jmx.port=5009. Program will exit.

was the instance running before that issue?

Any changes in the configuration files?

Which Version of MWS is being used?

This instance is running one day back .I bring down the server after that i try to bring up it is not came up .
About configuration file there is no change on it.
We are using 8.2 Version of MWS.

I try to start the server from default location(/apps/webMethods/bpo_int_mws/MWS/server/default/bin) ,i face below issue.

and when i try from /apps/webMethods/bpo_int_mws/MWS/bin location it came up.

Can you please suggest why it is not came up from default location ?

Siva – Ideally it should not happen, can you please stop and start it from /apps/webMethods/bpo_int_mws/MWS/server/default/bin loc.
