    After creating networks for service alias, functions "verify and sync" don't work. First node from oen site tried to mping node from other site.

    I haven't setup a linked cluster before but from what i understand a linked cluster doesn't use multicast cross site - it only uses unicast.

    Have you setup the 2 repository disks yet? (one per site). You might want to do this first then try verify & synch again.

    We have solved the problem. We got patch from techsupport which change file /usr/es/sbin/cluster/diag/ver_mping

    on both nodes perform this on the disk being used for repository.

    dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/rhdisk5 bs=1M
    rmdev -dl hdisk5
    cfgmgr
    chdev -l hdisk5 -a algorithm=round_robin -a hcheck_interval=10 -a hcheck_mode=nonactive -a reserve_policy=no_reserve -P
    chdev -l hdisk5 -a pv=yes

    readd it to cluster and verify and sync
