The resource group has to be online and not in an error status. You didn't specify which node the RG is. If it's on node2 and node2 is offline then you can't move it.
    Good luck.

    alethad,

The RG belong to node2 but node2 (server) is offline. There is no way to resume the RG on node1 ? Suppose that the server (node2) is down and we want to resume its resources on the other node. What can be done in this case ?

HACMP must turn on the node2 to take its resources ?

    Regards

You'll have to get HA started on node2. I hope you've got your HA config verfied and synchronized before node2 went offline. Not sure what your circumstances are so it's a little hard to tell you what to do next.
    Good luck.
