We have recently upgraded to 9.2.24 and want to move the VM Manager Tool from Distributed Mode to Local Mode.

Mainly due to the fact that our VM Manger Tool running in Distributed mode is currently installed on the same computer as the License Metric Tool server.

So why not just moved to Local Mode for easier management.

But when we go into VM Managers in the console, click on New, the option to select 'VM Manager Tool Location' is disabled.

What would be the process to enable the ability to choose the VM Manage Mode so we can move/migrate to the VM Manager in Local mode?

Thank you for the link but had already read that article. It does not provide any details on the process to migrate from Distributed mode to Local mode.

Is there no way to move from Distributed to Local mode for the VM Manager?
