  • 1.  Maximo Anywhere Enabling Custom Attributes

    hi Everyone, 
    We are trying to enable custom attributes in applications to be enabled in Maximo Anywhere 7.6.4.
    We have done the puller, modified the app.xml (Eg: Inspector-> artifact - > app.xml) and deployed it in Maximo. But the anywhere application is still not reflecting it to show the custom attribute.
    Are there any more xmls to be modified apart from app.xml? does anyone have a list of steps to add custom attributes / select actions etc and show them in anywhere mobile UI ?

    You must ensure the you have added the attribute not only to the DATA section but also the UI section.  For reference you can visit the following: Adding fields to mobile apps; and IBM - Configure and customize IBM Maximo Anywhere 7.6.3.  I know that this badge is for 7.6.3.1 but it is highly relevant for 7.6.4.  Further, at one point it was available for IBMers and BPs only.  I do not know if you are a Business Partner or a direct client.  The material you can use, the available VM image for the training you may not be able to access.  I trust that you will have an environment you can use regardless.  I trust this helps.

    Thanks for Your Reply. 

    Actually, we are facing an issue while Building the application. when we are Running Build all Commend. we are facing the  below Error

    BUILD FAILED
    H:\IBM\Anywhere\MaximoAnywhere\build.xml:262: The following error occurred while executing this line:
    H:\IBM\Anywhere\MaximoAnywhere\build.xml:177: The following error occurred while executing this line:
    Target "update-appfeatures-for-appdistribution" does not exist in the project "Application Build Script".

    Then we have Commented the line <antcall target="update-appfeatures-for-appdistribution"/> in build.xml file. Now when we are Running the Build all. We are facing below error.
