How can I map the LDAP mail attribute to the BAW Task Email Address? Is it possible to do this in the WebSphere console or through an admin task?

If I understand correctly,

Open ProcessAdmin using your admin, from the toggle chose user Managment then chose Bulk User Attribute Assignment

after that chose View by user then chose the user you want to assign the value to, then search for Task Email Address.

Thank you for your reply,

but I want to map the email automatically for all users, not just for a specific user.
Furthermore, every new user must have this attribute assigned automatically.
Is there a way to configure such mapping?

Ideally, the email id should be automatically mapped when the LDAP is configured in Fed Repo.

Please check the configuration from WAS Console->Global Security->Federated Repository.

Also, try seeing the attributes of a user  - tw.system.org.findUserByName(<USER_NAME>).attributes -> If the email id is mapped.
